Composite Bonding After Orthodontics
The Bonding Studio provides additive composite bonding for anatomical refinement following orthodontic treatment.
Treatment is conservative, enamel-preserving and planned to respect existing occlusion, alignment and orthodontic finishing.
Clinical indications
Referral may be appropriate where patients present with:
worn or uneven incisal edges, including loss of incisal anatomy secondary to wear
minor asymmetry revealed following alignment
small residual spacing suitable for additive management
subtle proportion discrepancies between adjacent teeth
mild residual irregularities where further orthodontic movement is not planned
patients seeking conservative refinement rather than veneers
The objective is anatomical refinement only. Orthodontic outcome and occlusal scheme are intended to be preserved.
Scope of Service
The Bonding Studio provides additive composite bonding for refinement.
This most commonly includes post-orthodontic finishing, alongside conservative refinement of naturally straight teeth where minor discrepancies are present.
We do not provide orthodontic treatment, comprehensive general dentistry, veneers or irreversible cosmetic procedures.
Patients remain under the care of their orthodontist and/or general dentist for routine and long-term management.
This is a defined, single-episode service consisting of consultation, treatment if proceeding, and review.
About Dr Aimee Dunne
Dr Aimee Dunne is a general dentist with a focused clinical interest in enamel-preserving composite bonding, with particular experience in post-orthodontic refinement.
Having worked closely with orthodontists and restorative colleagues across both public and private practice, Aimee has developed a careful, anatomy-led approach to finishing cases where alignment has improved the position of the teeth, but shape, edge position or proportion still require refinement.
The Bonding Studio was established as a clearly defined refinement service with strict scope boundaries, designed to complement orthodontic treatment and support predictable handover back to the referring clinician.
Treatment planning is undertaken with consideration of tooth anatomy, occlusal stability, finishing detail and long-term retention.

Referral Pathway
Upon referral, we contact the patient to arrange a complimentary consultation and mock-up, either in person or virtually where appropriate.
If the patient proceeds, bonding is usually completed in a single appointment.
A review is conducted at 1 to 2 weeks.
The Bonding Studio works closely with the referring orthodontist to support retention following treatment.
Where appropriate, appointment timing can be coordinated around debond, bonding, and retainer updates to minimise the period a patient is without appropriate retention.
